Christmas Mailer Boxes: Measure Full Set & Inserts

Measure the complete arrangement, including retail cartons, projecting bottle caps, inserts and cushioning. Leave clearance for staff to load and remove products without forcing them.

Specify internal length × width × height, stating the units. Inserts reduce the space available for products, so review the complete layout. Check the filled parcel’s external measurements and weight against your delivery service separately.

For several bundles, compare each arrangement before sharing one box size. Smaller sets need support to prevent movement inside a larger mailer.

Choose Board and Inserts for the Packed Load

Corrugated mailer boxes combine flat liners with fluting. Board selection depends on box size, packed weight and handling. Our packaging materials guide explains the construction options.

Brown board gives festive designs a natural-looking background; white board provides a lighter printing surface. Review colours on the chosen stock.

Paperboard or corrugated inserts can separate jars, bottles and smaller gifts. Dividers locate items, but fragile contents may also need cushioning and a filled-pack assessment. Tissue adds presentation without replacing structural support.

Prepare for Seasonal Packing and Sealing

Mailers are normally supplied flat-packed. Confirm the supply format and practise assembly with your packing team, including insert loading.

Peel-and-seal closures and tear strips are optional on suitable designs. The adhesive strip closes the parcel; the tear strip helps recipients open it. Locking tabs alone do not establish a secure dispatch seal. Additional tape requirements depend on the construction and filled weight.

Keep Festive Printing Clear of Delivery Labels

Combine Christmas graphics with recognisable brand colours and your usual logo. Coordinate the design with your wider Christmas gift and treat packaging where the campaign includes several formats.

Printed Christmas mailers can carry exterior artwork and, where specified, an inside-lid greeting. Leave a flat area for delivery labels, keeping essential text away from folds, cuts and covered panels.

Discuss matt, gloss, foil or spot UV where compatible with the stock. Artwork without a year may suit future campaigns if the packaging specification remains suitable.
