Custom Christmas Gable Boxes for Festive Handovers

A gable handle gives customers a carrying point when collecting a gift or leaving an event. For retailers, the front panel provides space for a recognisable logo, a seasonal message and product details. Keep those details visible once the top flaps are closed.

Measure the Usable Space Below the Roof

Provide internal length × width × usable height in millimetres, including space for wrappers, inserts and removal. Measure the usable height below the sloping top, rather than the highest point of the handle.

Tall pouches and projecting lids must clear the closure flaps. For large Christmas gable boxes, check the complete arrangement rather than simply enlarging a smaller design. Confirm external dimensions separately for shelving, storage cartons and shipping outers.

Gable Boxes by Base and Packing Routine

Our auto-bottom gable format has a pre-glued base that forms as the carton opens, reducing manual folding during repeated packing. A tuck-end base is closed manually.

These formats are supplied flat. Confirm the selected construction and insert assembly requirements in your quotation. For heavier sets, use a representative filled sample to assess base support, balance and handle clearance. If it needs additional support, agree a revised base, board or handle design before production.

Match Board and Print to Your Festive Design

White SBS paperboard provides a light surface for detailed illustrations and multicolour printing. Brown kraft changes the artwork’s background, so review colours on the proposed stock.

Corrugated board is another option for gable gift packaging, particularly for larger sets. The grade and construction still need to match the packed load.

Choose CMYK for full-colour artwork or limited-colour printing for simpler branding. Supply Pantone references where brand colours matter. Matt, gloss, foil and spot UV can be considered where compatible with the board. A selective foil logo can add festive detail while keeping product information readable.

Christmas Gable Gift Boxes with Inserts and Windows

Dividers can give products separate positions within Christmas gable gift boxes. Allow for their thickness and confirm whether they arrive separately or fitted. A window can reveal part of the gift, but its position must leave suitable board around folds, locking areas and the handle. Agree its construction alongside the insert. For recycling guidance, assess the complete pack, including coatings and window materials.
