Custom 50ml Bottle Boxes for Sprays and Droppers

A spray top and a dropper create different packing needs, even when both bottles hold 50ml. Spray bottles may have an overcap or locking position that changes their packed height. A dropper closure adds a bulb and caps whose shape must be included in the brief.

Position the Bottle With Suitable Internal Support

The insert and outer box need to work together. A support that locates the bottle body or base has a different role from clearance around the dispenser. The layout should allow loading and removal without relying on pressure against a pump or dropper bulb.

For bottle boxes with inserts, include the bottle profile and any shoulder changes in your brief. Agree the fitment material and contact points alongside the carton. The aim is a defined position with practical access when the customer opens the pack.

Size the Box From the Complete Closed Bottle

50ml describes capacity, not carton dimensions. Measure the bottle with its cap, pump lock and overcap fitted in the intended packed position. Include the filled weight, since the contents also affect the load carried by the base.

For a round bottle, record maximum diameter and overall height. For square or shaped bottles, provide maximum length, width and height, including projections. Measurements in millimetres make the sizing discussion clearer.

Usable space after fitting an insert differs from the carton’s internal dimensions. External dimensions include the completed construction. If the carton must fit an existing display or gift pack, provide that available space too.

Match the Board to Handling and Presentation

Board choice depends on the filled bottle, carton span, internal support and opening style. Thickness alone does not settle the specification. The base and closure must be considered with the bottle in place.

Kraft board gives a brown background that affects artwork contrast. Rigid packaging provides a different construction for gift presentation. Agree the stock and format together before artwork is finalised, rather than transferring a design between boards without checking fit.

A customer-facing carton also needs its dispatch arrangement considered. For glass bottle packaging, assess the complete shipping pack, including any outer carton and cushioning. A rigid presentation box alone does not establish courier suitability.

Give Each Bottle Variant Clear Printed Panels

Choose a clear front-panel focus, then place supporting information where it remains readable. Keep small text and barcode areas away from folds, joins and decorative details. Check artwork on the agreed layout rather than judging it only as a flat logo file.

Foil, embossing, debossing, spot UV and soft-touch treatments offer different visual or tactile effects. Select details that suit the chosen board and design. If you want a matte or gloss appearance, agree the specific coating or lamination in the quotation.

Review the Structure Before Artwork Approval

We prepare a dieline and digital mock-up as part of developing the box design. The dieline identifies structural panels, folds and joins; the mock-up helps you review the printed appearance. A digital preview cannot demonstrate the physical fit of a filled bottle. Agree the design work and proofing costs before it starts.

If your brief requires a physical sample, agree its specification, charges and approval purpose separately. A fit check and a printed-colour review answer different questions. Any dispatch evaluation must consider the complete packed arrangement.
