Locking cap that locks the products in place without the need for extra adhesives. This functionality protects items from getting damaged during shipping and storage.
There are three interlocked flaps forming the bottom of the box. These flaps are built over each other one by one bringing in strength and robustness. Whether it is a light-weight product or a heavy-weight product, this structure works well with both of these.
These boxes are made of different kinds of materials, including high-density cardstock, kraft paper, and corrugated cardboard. Available in thicknesses from 14pt for lighter products to 22pt for heavier products, offering durability and versatility.
You might have encountered these boxes as packaging for small electronics like headphones, power banks, or general gadgets. You can also add custom foam inserts for protection.
It’s mostly made of cardstock like 18pt, or cardboard like 22pt. Digital printing is one of the printing methods used to improve the brand image with bright patterns and product details.
The secure locking mechanism is helpful for food items such as bakery products and frozen meals. Often, we see customizations such as moisture-proof coatings and ventilation holes.
The box sizes are either 8 x 4 x 4 inches for the smaller box or 12 x 6 x 6 inches for the larger box that is usually used for food items. Kraft paper or corrugated cardboard can be food-grade – a must for complying with safety standards.
These are boxes used by retailers of such products as shoes, accessories and clothing. The cap, which can be locked closed, and the solid bottom offer improved security and a professional look.
This makes offset printing a popular solution for colourful designs. Various sizes, including 10 x 5 x 4 inches for accessories and 14 x 8 x 6 inches for garments.
Selection of proper material is very important. 14pt to 18pt cardstock is optimal for packaging lightweight items. For heavier items, you use corrugated cardboard with E-flute layers. Even recycled kraft paper, which will prove to be a perfect eco-friendly material for sustainable packaging solutions.
Tailored sizes keep the product snuggly locked inside the case. This will create healthy tension that keeps your things from moving when in transport.
Deeper items can be filled by placing internal padding or foam inserts for delicate items. The panels on a 1-2-3 bottom are usually made to be more heavy-duty for added weight support.
Digital printing is ideal because it can print high-enhancement graphics making it perfect for smaller runs. Offset printing is more economical for mass production.
It uses eco-friendly inks and not many designs, it manages to work with flexographic printing. UV spot printing is commonly employed to showcase important branding features.
The durability and appearance of the boxes are enhanced with the use of finishing options. Surface protection is via matte or gloss lamination.
Embossing or debossing adds a tactile detail that reinforces brand elements while metallic foil stamping enhances visual appeal by providing a premium look and feel. You can also incorporate more functional elements such as handles, die-cut windows, and internal dividers.
Digital Printing
Digital Printing — Just as in the past, but you can print better and control of designs. Short runs or prototypes are best for it, producing bright colours and detailed graphics.
Offset Printing
Offset printing works well for bulk orders. It gives you rich and stable output and also less cost per unit.
Flexographic Printing
Using environmentally friendly water-based inks, flexographic printing is a good option for more straightforward designs. Best For: Kraft and corrugated
UV Printing
UV printing is a printing method that used ultraviolet light to cure or dry the ink. Used often to give logos or certain design aspects a glossy look.
